Good Washer/Dryer

SAF68 8/2/2026

Washer works good. Dryer must be on Normal - Very Dry to Heat and dry clothes. Timed Dry never heats and even after an hour, doesn™€™t dry the clothes.

Excellent product (except for one small glitch)

Silverthorne Gary 12/17/2025

This is a compact unit and fits well into a small space. The washer did an excellent job getting items cleaned and the dryer works very well. The only drawback - we are using this in our AirBNB. Guests tend to destroy the lint filter in the dryer, requiring us to replace the filter often. I wish the filter could be sturdier and more difficult to break. Also, the washer has a lint filter and we have already seen problems with guests figuring out how to remove, clean, and replace it. Of course, if we were the only ones using the unit, the lint filter issue would not be a problem. Otherwise, it's a very good unit. I like the 'auto-fill' feature of the washer. It's a good-looking unit.

Fast and Effective

Laughing Laundress 11/12/2025

This was provided as an accessory to a new Park Model we purchased. I have owned stackables before, and found this one to have greater capacity and speedier cycles than the others. The only drawbacks I found were that the clothes get all wound together in the washer (not that other washers don't do that), and that both the washing and drying seem very noisy. However, I've never had a unit right in the middle of my home before, so it might be that it's really just normal noise.

AlfLaf77 9/3/2025

Can™€™t wait to replace!! Whose bright idea was it to put the lint trap in the back of the machine. Every time you clean it, dust and dirt falls into the drum and you end up having to clean the drum before you put in your now clean clothes. DO NOt BUY

I do not recommend this laundry center.

Beth 7/5/2025

Drier does not completely dry clothes in 1 cycle. I need to run the cycle twice to get things dry. This includes using the 60 minute timed cycle. The temperature settings on the washer are vague descriptions of what the wash cycle temperature actually is, so I™€™m left guessing.

I bought this product less than a year ago and within 5 months, the shifter actuator went out. I ended up getting it fixed, but a bit of a laborious process and seemingly unnecessary given that the appliance was brand new.

Unfortunately, the product was delivered with a plug (3 prong) that would not fit my connection at home (4 prong plug). This information was not provided in the product description. After seeking for support nobody could offer a solution, so I will have to return the product. The waiting time on the customer hotline was 45 minutes, which was very long.

I™€™m very happy with the machine, however, I™€™m still getting used to the dryer. Even tho I put in ™€œextra dry™€, it doesn™€™t entirely dry my clothes. I had to put it extra time to completely my load. Other than that, I™€™m very happy I bot the machine.

Horrible stackable unit!!!!

Juju 6/9/2024

I cannot give this any star. I bought this in April 2023 to replace a whirlpool stackable unit. It is was the only stackable unit available. It does small loads. It does not fill up with water to the top under the normal setting, but if you select the heavy setting it does. The lint filter is in the back of the dryer, instead of the front, I am 5™€™3™€, and have to stretch to reach it. The lint filter is HORRIBLE!!!! Seriously, who engineered this machine???? I have to vacuum it out often, the vent has to be cleaned more often than before. I am seriously disappointed in this unit. I would not recommend purchasing this. The venting is horrible. Additionally, the washer drum gets clogged up with coins easily, to remove them takes 2 sets of pliers, hard to do, and if you have kids, forget it!!! You cannot stay caught up on laundry. Worse appliance ever. I was replacing a year 2000 or maybe late 1990s version of whirlpool stackable unit, wished I had paid the $500 to fix it. Fire the engineer who built this machine, go back to the 1999-2000™€™s model.

condo stuff 6/3/2024

The washing machine part works great. The dryer does not get hot enough and often we have to run two cycles to get our items to dry. This is the exact model we had, which broke, and we are surprised that this one is so different from that one.

Don™€™t waste your time on Whirlpool

Shawkasham 5/16/2024

This unit was supposed to be 3 and 4 prong compatible and it is not. The customer service I received to fix the matter was a joke. Absolutely no one took the time to understand my problem, the user manual did not match the unit, I was given incorrect and dangerous advice on how to fix the problem with an adapter, and was even hung up on. I now have a very expensive unit I can™€™t use. I™€™ll never purchase another whirlpool product again.

Don™€™t buy don™€™t shop at Lowes

Pdwi 2/8/2024

Bought Jan 22, 2024 from Lowes in Upland, Ca. Difficulties with delivery, they took it back was delivered on Jan 24. It is louder than my old one, it sounds like the motor is struggling or rubbing on something. The clothes are clean, takes forever to dry. I tried to talk to Lowes to return it. They said their return policy is 48 hours. This machine should have been 220 but it isn™€™t. I paid $1499 and am not very happy.

This was a gift from my brother who bought it so I wouldn't have to go down into the basement to do my wash since I broke my back. The size perfectly fit into my bathroom. Although the 120 volt dryer takes a longer time to dry my clothes, it is worth it to protect myself from falling down the stairs. The washer is excellent.

Much better than GE

Jersey Bob 2/10/2023

This Whirlpool washer dryer combo is very quite and does a fantastic job on cleaning the clothes. Plus I love the WASHER CLEAN CYCLE. I put a cleaning tablet in twice a month and it kills all the possible mold and gunk that a person doesn't see behind the spin basket. I also can't believe that all this works on a 120v 20A outlet. The clothes take a little longer to dry, but not by much. This was a great purchase. It replaced a gas GE WASHER DRYER COMBO. I definitely feel this was a much better appliance.

Fire Hazard

peapod 11/27/2022

I bought this set about 2 years ago. The other day my partner dried his clothes before he left for work since they didn™€™t dry completely the night before. I went into the laundry room and the door was open and the dryer was off. It felt like someone turned the heat up because my laundry room was warmer than usual. I approached the unit to get my clothes from the dryer and it was hot to the touch despite being turned off for over 4 hours. I™€™m thankful the door was open to allow the heat to escape. I have no idea where to begin to fix this issue. I have NEVER heard of this happening. I take care of my appliances and expect a $1,600 unit to last longer than 2 years. This is not okay!
